Henrique Matos is a Full Professor in the Chemical Engineering Department at IST/Universidade de Lisboa, where he graduated in Chemical Engineering in 1986 and got his PhD in Chemical Engineering at the same university, in 1993. His scientific interests lie in Supercritical Fluids Technology and Process Systems Engineering, namely in Modelling, Simulation, Process Integration and Sustainability Analysis of Industrial Processes. The investigation resulted in 4 patents and 256 publications in international journals, articles in conferences, etc. He has participated in more than 30 R&D projects, supported by Public Institutions or industrial companies.
